CELEBRITY CLAIRE LOMAS TO APPEAR AT BUSHY PARK ON MAY 12
The paralysed London Marathon walker, Claire Lomas, begins her new challenge on April 22nd – to cycle 400 miles around the UK on her special hand-bike.
She’ll arrive for “Chestnut Sunday” at London’s Bushy Park at 12:30am on May 12th to head a colourful procession of veteran & classic cycles escorted by the children’s charity – The Horse Rangers Association - and their mascot Shetland pony, Cameo.
The Horse Rangers are proud to host Claire for this event and have invited her to give an inspirational talk on the main stage at 1.30pm; then meet the public at The Horse Rangers stand where her cycle will be displayed
Claire was injured in a horse-riding accident. Two of the seven squadrons of 400 children at the Horse Rangers charity are linked to Riding for Disabled.
Claire has since taken up many other sports but her love of horses remains and she’ll see The Horse Rangers “Musical Ride” performance at 2.30pm
