Have you ever looked at your cupboard of clothes, shoes and accessories and thought I have nothing to wear?!? Ladies you are not alone – the average British woman has 22 items in her cupboard that she will never wear! Shocking to hear, especially as these unworn items are worth £1.6 billion.
February is the month of love so in the lead up to Valentines, love your wardrobe – your tops, your skirts and your dresses – by clearing your closet of the items you leave unloved on their hangers and bring them to Curves Hampton/Teddington where you can give them the chance to be loved again by swishing them for clothes, shoes and accessories that you will love.
Swishing is a fun, social and eco-way to update your wardrobe without spending any money. Every person attending the event is required to bring at least one items to swap in order to be allowed to take something home. For each item you bring we’ll give you a token which you can swap for something new. When the swish is declared open you are free to raid the rails and take home something you will love.
Each person must bring at least one good quality item of clothing, shoes or accessories in a good and clean condition to be allowed to take something from the event
Please make sure that your items you bring to swap are in a condition that you would be happy to receive them in
A maximum of 10 items can be taken from the event per person (it is the Swisher’s choice if they wish to bring more)
Items will be swished item for item (1 item = 1 token)
Pierced jewellery, swimwear, and underwear including socks will not be accepted
Items that have shrunk, are not in great condition, need repairing or cleaning (e.g. stains, missing buttons, broken zips, loose sequins or beading, rips, tears, fabric pulls or holes, bobbly bits, disintegrating seams or hems, lint or fluff) will not be accepted
Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed to attend
