To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the end of the trolleybus era we have organised an Open Day at Fulwell Garage on Saturday 12th May. Three preserved London trolleybuses will be on display, including 1521 along with other classic, iconic London buses including Routemasters which replaced the trolleybuses. The Open Day will be from 10am until 5pm. Free Admission.
We have got together with Squires Garden Centre just across the road, and Brouge at The Old Goat. It will ne a family day, combining the chance to see these historic vehicles and find out more about them, the chance to visit the award winning garden centre and take a look at the transport collectors' fair at Brouge.
Parking will be available for customers in Squires but limited in the adjacent roads. Come up to Fulwell by bus or train if you can. Bus services 33, 267, 281, 290 and R70 all stop very nearby and Fulwell Station is very close. We are also running a FREE GreenLine shuttle bus service from Hampton Hill High Street to Fulwell with 60 year old London Bus RT3491. The service will run every 45 minutes from 169b High Street, from10.30am.
