I don't know anything about Apps Farm but the one at Imber Court, Esher is always very good. And apparently the Kempton Racecourse one gets better each year. Hope that helps.

Permalink Reply by Clive on October 28, 2011 at 12:23 The NPL Sports Club firework display in Teddington is pretty good, it's this Saturday.
Fireworks set to music, various catering options available and live music/beer festival afterwards.
Full info in the attached.

Permalink Reply by Louise Bools on November 1, 2011 at 20:29 Hi, Carlisle Infant School is holding it's annual fireworks spectacular at Carlisle Infant School grounds, Broad Lane, Hampton on SATURDAY 12th November. Gates open at 5.30pm and fireworks are at approx. 6.15pm. There will be side shows, barbeque, bottle tombola, beer tent, hot food and live entertainment. Tickets on-the-gate are £6.00 for adults and £3.50 for children (Under 3s free).

Hi Linda,
Kempton Park gets my vote, it's considered one of the best in London in fact. But it gets huge crowds and parking and queueing for tickets can be rather painful, so it's not everyone's first choice. My recommendation is to aim to be there by 7.15 and don't expect the fireworks to start on time. I am going to go by train from Hampton this year.
And I think the ferry to Molesey only runs when we are on BST, so not an option for getting to Apps Court this time of year.
Regards, Samantha
Permalink Reply by Linda Kemp on November 5, 2011 at 11:20 Unfortunately Linda I cannot share your enthusiasm, left to me there would be NO fireworks. I have 3 dogs and at least for the week preceeding and the week after my dogs hide in the wardrobe, under the bed covers and when they don't know what else to do I have 3 quivering little jellies. What scares me most is that one of them especially is so bad I pray she doesn't have a heart attack and die, it's that serious. Sorry to put a dampner on it.

Thanks Clive, sounds like a good one and handy to get to on the R68 bus as well. Fireworks every week, why not!

Sounds like you really had a good night, pleased to hear that, I'm going to have to try the pizza sounds fab.
I think , that as we will always have fireworks and I appreciate there are plenty of people who love them, then the organised displays are the best. I have 2 friends with dogs who are not bothered by them at all. Ironically I also have a horse who doesn't seem at all bothered by them, mainly I think because he lives on the edge of the army's ranges and they are always firing shots!!
