Here we go again - The RMT have called another strike - this time from 18-22 June. As per usual, the service on the Shepperton branch has been suspended for the whole period. The local buses will be overwhelmed and travelling will be torturous. Vince Cable and local politicians have not got any meaningful action from either SWR or SWT over the years to improve the ever worsening service levels. This is unacceptable, travellers on the Branch line are treated as third class passengers by a fourth-rate operator. Our  only hope is a resolution of the strike. Renationalise the railways now.

Looks like the strike is perfectly timed to coincide with road closures (percy road?) 17-24 june
