Yes. it is amazing, isn't it? I wonder what happened, but I am glad someone else noticed too!!!
Hi Gareth,
I am here. But yesterday I was in Bushy Park. What a perfect day. Autumnal splendour and a trek to the new cafe. But very disappointed when I arrived to see lovely cafe plus car park!! Ok, a couple of spaces for the elderly or disabled would definitely be required but this had space for about 30 cars and was of course full of Chelsea tractors. And there are two car parks only a short walk away. Am I missing something? - I thought the cafe would be a well earned treat at the end of a pleasant walk or cycle ride - but it was chocca. And yes of course it is half term, but as most of the kids were under 5, methinks it will pretty much be like that all year round. There were no tables free and a huge queue. So we headed off towards Hampton Hil, where we discovered the Lebanese restaurant, The Vine Garden at the back of the Duke of Clarence and enjoyed some absolutely lovely freshly cooked food. So all's well that ends well.
i have to confess I am better at meeting up with people than electronic social networking......so a Hampton People Pub event would be good?
