The gate at the path leading from the Library onto Upper Sunbury Road had been padlocked. I’ve been using this route for over 20 years and I’m not pleased to see this happen. I hope it is only a…Continue

Recycling Problems

So the reason that recycling boxes are still on the streets is that RUTC have selected Serco (more like fiasco), a bunch of third rate outsourcers always teetering on the brink of chaos and insolvency. Probably bid low, as they usually do and we will all suffer. Good work Gareth. Along with the undemocratic imposition of the 20mph speed limit, a ballot box rebuke is coming. Impose penalties on Serco now and get this sorted.See More

RMT Strike Next Week

Here we go again - The RMT have called another strike - this time from 18-22 June. As per usual, the service on the Shepperton branch has been suspended for the whole period. The local buses will be overwhelmed and travelling will be torturous. Vince Cable and local politicians have not got any meaningful action from either SWR or SWT over the years to improve the ever worsening service levels. This is unacceptable, travellers on the Branch line are treated as third class passengers by a…See More
