Work on this site is now going at full pace. Whatever this buiding is going to be,I might be wrong but would guess apartments, bringing into Hampton streets many more cars in an already congested parking area. Oh and of course we will also have to face the development of the old police station.I hope our council leaders are plying pressure on TFL, to extend zone 6 to at least Sunbury or even Shepperton which will ease the pressure on Hampton streets.See More

South West Trains.

Waiting for a delayed train at Norbiton station this afternoon, there was a tannoy message to inform us of serious disruption to the South West train service tomorrow 8th November and Thursday 9th November. This is due to a strike called by the RMT rail union in support of guards. Personally this wont affect me at all, but it still angers me that people will have a horrendous two days trying to get to work or hospital and home again. Its about time that public transport employees were banned…See More

I apologise for raising this subject again, but I get so angry every time passing the gates and still seeing those monstrous buildings each side. I accept that the former so called DeJa Vu bar & grill has been demolished, but nothing much seems to be happening on the site. On the other side of the gates the hideous boarded up Liongate Hotel still stands as an eyesore.
