I apologise for raising this subject again, but I get so angry every time passing the gates and still seeing those monstrous buildings each side. I accept that the former so called DeJa Vu bar & grill has been demolished, but nothing much seems to be happening on the site. On the other side of the gates the hideous boarded up Liongate Hotel still stands as an eyesore. "They`re probably just going back to their base near Hook.  The flight path largely follows the Thames because they have to be near open spaces where they can land if they have a technical problem."
