I lived in Hampton from 1956 to 1980. Are there any members who lived in Hampton about the same time?
From 1951 to 1956 I lived in Park Road, Hampton Hill. I attended Carlisle Infants School and then Station Road Infants School next to the Railway pub in Hampton. The school was eventually demolished to make way for a small block of flats (Rushbury Court). Ironically I was one of the first to buy one of those flats (ground floor front right).
Until I moved to Rushbury Court I…Continue

I'm trying to find the wonderful couple who helped my father after his fall on Hampton Wick High Street yesterday, 21 May. Sorry I wasn't thinking straight at the hospital and didn't ask your names. If it was you or you know who they are please get in touch as we would like to thank them properly.
Deserve a well-earned break?

In case you haven't seen the piece in the Richmond and Twickenham times, here it is.
Also - the organization organizing it - Delete Blood Cancer - are keen to run a session locally - so it would be great if a school, or church or business wanted to host an event. I will happily act as co-ordinator and volunteer on the day.
It would be great if we could get as many potential donors registered as quickly as possible.

My fiancée and I were looking at houses in the Hampton area at the weekend along the Buckingham Road area and we noticed quite constant, low and noisy aircraft from heathrow the entire time we were there. It was a real shame as apart from that we love the area.
Can any residents (especially in the north towards the A316) re-assure us that this was a one off occasion just due to the change in wind direction?
Just a reminder that Scribblers Playgroup at Hampton Methodist Church is still running on a thuesday morning every week during term time. Does anyone know what the land at the corner off Tudor Road and Station Road is going to be used for?
I noticed today the land has been aquired by Bancroft.
Anyone know why Thames street is to close overnight on 3rd June. Board gives no explanation and it says closed from 1900hrs on 3rd until 0700hrs following morning. Too bad if you need to get home via 111 bus after 7pm or indeed are driving from A3 direction

There is a lot of work being done on the grass area on the London-bound platform, just near the footbridge. Does anyone know what's going on? It would be great if it was a secure area for bikes.
We went at the Bell Inn pub in Hampton on the 13th of Jan. As being a very reputable and expensive pub, my partner and I always kept the chance to go for the first time like a treat.
We have finally decided to go after living in Station rd for quite a while now. The experience we had was utterly disappointing.
Let's start with the service.
I ordered a burger and my partner bread and oil with some chips. The burger arrived at the table…
