Thanks for the welcome Paul, yes it was my secretary of Hampton bowls club that introduced me and I find it interesting that there is a web page for the interest of Hampton reidents. Jim
Thanks Paul, I will get around to uploading a pic and I'm looking forward to meeting some other members soon! I lived on a busy road for a long time and don't know my neighbours as everyone always seems to be out at work - lucky them!
Yes, I have just added it. This site is a really great idea as although I've lived in Hampton for more years than I care to remember, I don't know many people as I've always worked out of this area. It would be very interesting to find out who some of my neighbours are!
Hi Paul, thanks for the welcome, and for your efforts in setting up this site. I have already noted the little chat on good pubs and enjoyed a pleasant meal at the Bell, watched the river slip by i the summer rain as I ate and imbibed. Cheers.
Hi Paul and thanks for your welcome message.
Hampton is a great place to live and I am glad to be part of the community..and adding a bit of french flair, too lol
Your website is excellent and hopefully more and more people will join, keeping the community closer.
Paul,
you're right in both counts, I love the site, well dine and I did have trouble with my usual account when I logged in from another PC.
I won't use the newest account in future.
Best wishes
John

Thanks, i have read some discussions for quite a while now, should of joined before, as i have lived in Hampton for 34 years now and have seen quite a few changes.
I don't know Paul, maybe I want to retain that particular air of mystery that can only be conveyed by a picture of myself with a European Eagle Owl :-))))
Thanks, Paul. I've just been voted in as Chair of The Hampton Society, so thought it was about time I joined (you've met my husband, William, who joined your network a while ago). It certainly seems a good way of keeping up with what's going on locally, and is of course more immediate than the quarterly newsletter we produce. Hopefully see you at The Bell on Tues.
Thanks Paul. It's really good at the moment. Great getting local people's views and comments and also finding out what is going on in the area. This is a very good site, and my congratulations to whoever thought of it, and set it up and keeps it running. Superb.
Paul, I wonder if you can help me - I'm trying to upload (is that the expression!!??) a picture for my profile, not sure whether it's my lap top or not, shouldn't be because its brand new, and I don't think I've gone over the suggested MG but to no avail. Any suggestions?? I don't always access my e-mail every day so don't worry if you don't hear from me immediately.
What a donut I am Paul, tried it again AFTER sending you the e-mail for advice and hey presto it worked. I forgot to press the SAVE button initially. :-)
