The Hampton Hill festivities will start tomorrow Friday 29th Nov from 4pm and the Parade at 6pm. The High Street will be closed to traffic from 5.30pm-8.30pm. The Parade will start at the Hampton end of the High Street (by Uxbridge road) and come down (one way) as far as the junction with Park road/Wellington road. As well as the impressive line up in the Parade, we will also have food and drink stalls, children's activities, glow sticks galore, Santa's Grotto, live music, Carol singers, music performances, street theatre, cartoon characters up and down the High Street. The Playhouse and the United Reformed Church will be hosting their annual craft fairs and there will be pony rides in the car park of the Star pub. There will be a hog roast, BBQs and most, if not all the traders will be putting on their own festive celebrations with mulled wine, mince pies, tombolas, balloons etc etc.
We are running a Parade Raffle this year and have got over 50 spectacular presents, donated mostly by the local traders. T he prizes include a bicycle, a kids party for 12, family ticket to EuroDisney, food hampers, selection of wines, restaurant vouchers, theatre tickets, Riding voucher, pub meals, a 4 Ball, kids hamper, Christmas cake, breakfast vouchers, cab voucher, lunch vouchers, dinner for 2 with wine, Champagne, etc etc to name but a few!
