Now that we have over 500 members, I thought it would be worth doing our first ever Survey!! This is a community website - it should be owned and driven by you the members (and certainly not by me!). So do please click on the link below and give your views on this site and this community. It is mainly multiple choice and should not take more than a couple of minutes to answer. No one will know what you have said (including me) so you can be as frank as you want :-)

The survey will be open for the whole of this month (and if you feel the need, you should be able to go back and change or add to your answers if you return from the same computer and have not deleted your cookies). If you want to get involved in analysing the responses and shaping the way forward for this site, just email or message me. Many thanks.

If the link doesn't work for you, copy and paste it into a new window. The ning.com gremlins have slightly corrupted it.

Thanks, Tudor. Should work better now I hope :-)

Paul, you do a great job, and I have just filled in the 'site questionnaire'. I too had a problem over the weekend to log onto the survey.

However, I am sure all members are VERY computer literate, but please remember us 'less young folk', who struggle with anything to do with a computer. You mention "cookies", and " copy and paste". Help!!!!, I am getting old! Or are you giving out free cookies to all those who complete the survey. Sadly, I think not!

Many thanks, Charles. And if you had any difficulties logging into the survey over the weekend, the problem was my lack of computer literacy not yours! Anyway, I am glad it all seems to be working now. :-)

How about one Hampton's people cookies meeting? In some gardenish/picnicky area. Lots of home-made cookies. In earlier hours (5-ish?) For people of all ages to better know each other. BTW: don't forget to fill in the questionnaire, folks! :)

Lucia, I am glad you said 'people of all ages'. Why not?

Charles, even regular meetings are not for 'age-selected' but for all. (Although, not for youngsters so far, as they happened in late evening hours.) For me it is never about the age, appearance and so. A human like a human. Different values matter.

Many thanks to all the people who have already filled in the survey - we are currently at 30 responses. That's a great start, but it would be nice to get up to 50 or beyond :-) So if you have not filled in the survey, do please click on the link above and share your views. It's very quick and easy and you might even find it fun!

We have made it to 44 replies which is great. But still room for many more :-)  To complete the survey, just click on this link:    HPN Survey

Paul, does the test survey you sent me still count toward the 44 received? If not I will complete it again.

Yes. Many thanks, Jason, it does :-)

Well, folks, we have made it to 48 survey responses which is great, but still time for a few more before the survey closes at the end of May :-)  In early June I will post a pdf of all the results and then we can implement some of the things people wanted.
