Volunteers sought for general help with concerts at Garrick's Temple on 11 & 12 July at 5.30pm

Better late than never!

I have just posted details of the two concerts taking place next week at Garrick's Temple.

Programme to include a selection of these works which span the centuries and a wide variety of musical styles:

  1. Vivaldi -  " Spring " from the four seasons

  2. Schubert  - Variations from  "Death and the Maiden”

  3. Vaughan-Williams -  The Lark Ascending (soloist: Pat Halling)

  4. Tchaikovsky - Scherzo

  5. Cello solo  Andrea Mundy - Tom Bowling   (Anon sea shanty)

  6. Irish Melody - (Arr  Frank Bridge)

  7. Percy Grainger - Molly on the shore

  8. Tony Kinsey (resident of Sunbury) - " Dream Rushes "

  9. George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue

Tickets include a glass of wine and boat transport from Hampton Court and Molesey Lock.

A Ferry will depart each day from Molesey Lock at 4.30pm to Garrick's Temple Lawns, Hampton.

We are looking for several volunteers who may be able to help with manning the bar, helping with ushering people to their seats, or assisting the more senior members of the audience and helping any people who arrive by ferry off the boat at Garrick Lawns (just in front of Garrick's Temple).

Also, if anyone would be able to put a few posters up in Hampton shops and other local places that would be greatly appreciated as well. (attached is the poster for the concerts)

Please call 07879 474 870 or email thameschambermusic@gmail.com if you might be able to help in any capacity.

Many thanks indeed. Dane Halling.
